Beneath the Veil. To those lucky enough to drive by and keep going,
this town is just a whisper from the past with crumbling buildings and
overgrown fields. Jen Ryan recently suffered the misfortune of being
aught in Auraria’s inescapable web.

Tell us about your family.
“My mom and dad are both dead. All I have left is my adopted brother, Barry.”
What are you passionate about these days?
“Surviving to live another day.”
Morning Person? Or Night Person? How do you know?
“Night person. I’m a hardcore night owl.”
What would we find under your bed?
“Not much. Right now all I have is a backpack under my cot.”
Tell us about your favorite restaurant.
“Don’t get me started. Just thinking of Vespa’s pasta makes me cry. I’m so sick of eating canned vegetables.”
If I came to visit early in the morning would you impress me as being more
like a chirpy bird or a grumpy bear?
“A very grumpy bear. Don’t find out.”
What one word best describes you?
“Tenacious. I’m a photographer. You have to work to get the perfect shot.”
You just won a huge lottery what is the first thing you'll buy?
“A ticket out of this place. For all of us.”

Generations of conflict come to light as these unfortunate visitors struggle to survive. Echoes of the past are lethal here…in this place where the dead have never left.
