Hey everyone!
This was a tough theme and I have nothing against any of these series, I just feel that i have read so many books that my standards and taste have changed so much.
Hope you will join me today!

Well-Recommended Books That Don't Really Attract You!
But first, a little bit about this feature and the rules to join in…
Every Sunday I will post a TOP 5 list on the blog. It can be about anything and every week I'll have a new theme {You can vote on next week’s theme on my left sidebar!} and I will ad the Mr.Linky bellow the post so you can do a list with the theme and add you link to it.
Rules:
Write a post listing your TOP 5 choices within the theme I chose (or was chosen on a poll) for the week.
Mention this Blog on the post and link back to it.
Fell free to use the Feature's image (there is a smaller size version of it bellow)
After you've finished your post, add you link (of the post, not your blog's main page) to the Mr.Linky at the end of that week's post.
If you don’t have a blog to post, just leave your list in the comments =)
This week’s theme is Well-Recommended Books That Don't Really Attract You!
*in no particular order
Fallen Series
by Lauren Kate
I don't know what it is with Y.A. of late... these series just don't seem to attract me in the least =/
Carpathians Series
by Christine Fehan
So many PNR series out there and I just think I'm a bit jaded for them =(
Infernal Devices
by Cassandra Clare
I enjoyed the Mortal Instruments series, though I can't seem to give in and read the newest books in that series =/ But I DO NOT enjoy Prequels in general and this series isn't something that attract me at all =(
I don't if this series is recommended or just in the spotlight a lot... but from everything I have read about it, I won't be trying it out anytime soon... If I want some kinky books I have other authors that work for me =D
Hush Hush Series
by Becca Fitzpatrick
Another very successful Y.A. series that just doesn't appeal to me at all... I am not a fan of angels either, so that doesn't help LOL
Attention!
Please HELP!

xoxo,
You are SO not alone on the Fallen and Hush, Hush series! You are seriously the first person I found that is like me on these books. I mean they're alright to me, but for all the hype they're getting, I just don't see it.
Hush Hush is actually the only one I read from this list! I gave it a try back when I didn't have much of a TBR pile--I miss those days, but now at least I get a paycheck to keep me in supply of books!
The Fallen series made it to my TBR list as well! This one was a little harder to do than I thought!
same here
i don;t get the hush hush/fallen and shades of gray trilogy
Hush hush book one, was ok. But I couldn't finish the 2nd.
I've only read one of these series- Shades of Gray. I thought it good, but not every book is for every one. (-;
I have the two YA trilogys on my wish list.
I'd have a hard time making up a list like this because I tend to be so easy-going in my reading pleasures. It's more of when I'll get around to reading something than never reading it. (not meant as an implied criticism)
Thanks for sharing!
I've read several books of the Carpathian series but from a sertain point it all becomes blurred, to many faces, to many bloodlines.
And i'm not at all interested in YA series at all!
I've read the Fallen, Hush, Hush and Infernal Devices series. The Fallen books are only okay, the Hush, Hush ones are pretty good and the Infernal Devices are awesome. They aren't really so much prequels as another series set in the same world in a different time. Clockwork Prince is even better than the Mortal Instruments.
I am having trouble coming up with any books that people recommended to me that I'm not interested in. Various vampire books, I suppose. :)
