She will also answer YOUR questions in the Comments. So, don't forget to leave them...
When did you first start writing?
Well we both have been writing a long time apart, but it was 2005 that we started writing together, when Cash showed up and told us all about the Eververse.
What is your favorite part of the writing process?
Spending time with my sister. Since she’s so far away, its really the only way we can hangout on a regular basis.
Have you always been interested in Romance?
Not really. Im a big horror fan in my reading, as well the more odd ball kinda stuff that doesn’t fit any real genre.
What about in the Paranormal?
Oh totally! Aud is quite a scardy-cat , but we both likea lot of the paranormal things out there, though getting Aud to ghost hunt with me was NOT easy and I don’t think she will do it again.
Why writing Paranormal Romance?
Its how it ended up. Our characters, all of them, are sexual creatures and they like to show it, LOL.
Were there any Books, Movies or Writers that have inspired you?
For me, my top three influences are Poppy Z. Brite, Clive Barker and Douglas Clegg. Audra’s main influences are Jim Butcher and Simon R Greene, and Lewis Carroll.
What is your favorite subject in the Paranormal Romance Realm? Anything that’s NOT vamps and weres. Theres a lot of room out there for things that are out of the box and off the cuff so I like to support that kinda stuff.
The sex scenes in your books are so hot. Where do you get your inspiration?
Honestly? I have no idea. The characters kinda just show up and tell us what to write. I know that’s sounds really skitzo, but its how it works out.
Do you find it hard to write them?
Nah, because its not us that write it, its them, the characters. I’m detached when I write a sex scene because its really just our fingers involved with the keys, typing out the info.
Favorites:
Favorite Paranormal themed Movie? Labyrinth, hands DOWN!
Favorite Paranormal themed TV Show? Farscape and Dr. Who!
Favorite Paranormal themed Book? For both of us, it’s the Kresley Cole Immortals After Dark series.
Favorite Author? For me, its Poppy Z Brite and for Aud it’s Jim Butcher
Favorite Paranormal Romance Author? Kresley Cole
Favorite one of your Books? As of right now, Aud’s is Masquerade, and mine is Entwined by Fate.
Who is your favorite of your own characters? Why? For me, I love Marsh, though it’s a love hate relationship.
Which was the hardest to write? Why? Character? For me its Marsh (hence the love hate) because he wants things done when he wants it. For Aud its Drake, because he is so caustic.
What would you be if not a writer? Why? I don’t know. Probably still working in the art field full time.
Quickies:
This or That? This.
Coffee or Tea? Tea.
Up or Down? Down.
Virtual or Real? These days its Virtual because its easiest to deal with.
Right or Left? Left, always.
Vampires or Weresnakes? You kidding? WERESNAKES!
Angels or Demons? Ooh toughie. I love Fallen Angels, and I love love love our demons too… Imma say Both.
Reading or Writing? Writing. It calms the voices in our heads.
What is your favorite part of the writing process? Seeing the story take shape. With me and Aud, we never know how its going to end up, so it always a wild ride to see how things work out.
What is your least favorite part? The editing process.
The American Ophidian series in your own words? Innovation. Flat out. This series is something that breaks boundaries on what the powers that be in literature deem marketable, and its still sexy, and a great story. I don’t normally sit here and tell people were wrote a winner, because we let our readers decide, but this book is one of the best we have ever written, and not only does it break the boundaries on what is acceptable in paranormal romance, but it gives readers something they have been lacking in their offered reading material: a choice for something new and different.
Any plans for more American Ophidian Books? Yep! We are looking at 4 or 5 books altogether at this point. You will see more of the characters and the world they live in.
What is coming up next for you? A lot of promotions for this book, and Audra and I will be writing the 5th Eververse book as well as the 2nd in an uncontracted series.
What are you working on right now? Book 2 of the weresnakes and book 3 of the Satyr series.
Do you have any advice or tip to those like me that want to become a published Author someday? Don’t compromise! Write what you love, what speaks to you, theres a market, you just have to find it.
Anything you would like to say to your fans out there? Thanks so much for reading us! Without you we would have no reason to put pen to paper so to speak, and would live and play alone with the wild characters who have chosen us to tell their stories. So thank you so much for letting us do what we do!
Thanks so much for stopping by Stella! =)))

I didnt know this series until i saw it here, so thanks larissa & Stella for the interview it was very nice.
I have a question for Stella, where did you get your inspiration to write about weresnakes? I mean, we all see shape-shifters and so, but its usually werewolves or werecats, so... weresnakes? Where does it come from? And also, do you like snakes in real life?
Beleth:
Audra and I hate werewolves and felt that there should be something else to give it a run for its money. Aud and I are big snake fans (Aud had 18 up until she got preggers, now she only has one,) and we decided that with weresnakes, we could set the bar, and do something different, but unique, and be the ones to be known for it.
Thanks so much for your question!
