Hi Guys! =)
This theme was so interesting to think about. I have wuite a loyal personality and I tend to always stick to an authors when (S)He gets into my heart and at the same time, one bad book can turn me off from an author completely.
I hope you'll join me today and share your thoughts!
This week’s results:

Reasons I'll Quit an Author!
But first, a little bit about this feature and the rules to join in…
Every Sunday I will post a TOP 5 list on the blog. It can be about anything and every week I'll have a new theme {You can vote on next week’s theme on my left sidebar!} and I will ad the Mr.Linky bellow the post so you can do a list with the theme and add you link to it.
Rules:
Write a post listing your TOP 5 choices within the theme I chose (or was chosen on a poll) for the week.
Mention this Blog on the post and link back to it.
Fell free to use the Feature's image (there is a smaller size version of it bellow)
After you've finished your post, add you link (of the post, not your blog's main page) to the Mr.Linky at the end of that week's post.
If you don’t have a blog to post, just leave your list in the comments =)
This week’s theme is
Reasons I'll Quit an Author!
*in no particular order
Who Do You Think You Are?
Rude and Inappropriate Response to Negative Reviews and/or behavior towards the fans is something that can completely turn me off from an author for good!
The Never ending Paragraphs
Too long paragraphs can become quite boring and result in me putting the book down for a while at the very least or for good at the very worst if that becomes a repeat offense.
Been There, Done That
Cliches exist for a reason and they do work, but there is such a think as too much of a good thing. Rules ARE meant to broken LOL.
Look Who is Talking!
I hate when I can't tell the POV I am reading at the moment. When the POV switch isn't clear it is such a turn off for me, I find myself having to stop, going back to re-read something and trying to figure out what's going on. I'm supposed to me enjoying a story and not analyzing a narrative.
The Bella Swan Syndrome
A.K.A. The too dumb to live heroine. There are too many of those out there and while a great Hero and awesome secondary characters can save a book or series, a TDTL heroine can kill my will to read a story very quickly =/.
Attention!
Please HELP!
If you have any theme ideas for the next Top 5 Sundays Posts, please leave them in the comments!

Thanks so much for tuning in and I’ll see you soon!
xoxo,
TDTL, ha! I *have* to use that phrase in everyday life! All these reasons are good ones. I think the first one, however, is just inexcusable.
Tee hee at your last one.
Haha, I'm so with you on The Bella Swan Syndrome! When I encounter characters like that I just skip over the scenes where they're talking because I have no interest in them.
I'd quit an author if the try to make a romance happen that doesn't feel right. N\
Paranormal Haven
Yes, Too Stupid to Live is a big turn off with me too and I hate when there is a romance and they blow hot and cold. You've got some great other points too.
Two thumbs up (or down I suppose) to all of your reasons.
Bad endings do it for me. I actually have a list of "will never read again" authors based entirely on how they ended a book. If I'm investing my time in your book there better damn-well be a good enough payoff at the end.
Another excellent post!. The POV thing drives me insane. I'm supposed to be reading not watching a ping pong or tennis match.
Another one is cutting the story short apparently just because a word count is reached. Nothing worse than to get into a story and have it just suddenly stop with a rushed ending.
I'm totally with you especially with the last three (Bella Swan Syndrome LOL, LOL). Plus I'm totally put off by cliffhangers there is no way in hell i'm going to read your book just because you left me hanging, I would read you book because I love your characters and you respect me as a reader!
'The Bella Swan Syndrome' = LOL!
So, so true.
The rude and inappropriate behaviour, especially. Poor old GoodReads has been copping a few ranting, raving authors lately ... and, honestly, when I read some of the immature name-calling behaviour some authors partake in, I am turned right off reading any of their books.
Great list :)
