October "Toby" Daye is settling into her new role as Countess of Goldengreen. She's actually dating again, and she's taken on Quentin as her squire. So, of course, it's time for things to take a turn for the worse.Someone has kidnapped the sons of the regent of the Undersea Duchy of Saltmist. To prevent a war between land and sea, Toby must find the missing boys and prove the Queen of the Mists was not behind their abduction. Toby's search will take her from the streets of San Francisco to the lands beneath the waves, and her deadline is firm: she must find the boys in three days' time, or all of the Mists will pay the price. But someone is determined to stop her-and whoever it is isn't playing by Oberon's Laws...

One Sea Salt was a great book, despite of leaving me a bit off kilter. The story is great and compelling, but Seanan took the characters through a road I did not expect and even though I appreciate it, it threw me off hehe.
I have to say that I am 100% team Tybalt and I will continue to root for his Highness King of Cats and a relationship with Toby that i believe could be quite interesting to read.
Over all, Seanan delivered with One Sea Salt another great addition to an incredible series and I cannot wait for whatever is coming next.
I just love that cover and I've been curious about this whole series. So, if you say it's good, I'm gonna get them all!
I'm currently reading the second book and I really like it. I can't wait to read this one it sounds so nice!
Now that I've read the blurb and your review. I am interested in the series.
Thanks!
I just skimmed this because I bought most of them when Borders was going out of business and I can't wait to read them. I'm glad you recommend this series though!
