As a college senior and server at Hanaford Park's hottest nightclub, twenty-one year old Ryann Pierce's plan was simple: work hard, make lots of money, and avoid the ass-grabbers at all costs. What she never planned for was Quinn Donegan—the living, breathing advertisement for sinful behavior that waltzed into her life.
With an angelic face, a hard body and a butt-load of charm, Quinn had a way with the ladies—a lot of ladies. Cursed with a deadly, addictive touch, his trail of indiscretion blazed across five hundred years. Tired and jaded, Ryann is a shocking revelation Quinn didn't see coming.Filled with desire, yet unable to touch one another, Ryann and Quinn embark on a daunting journey, battling frustrating physical limitations while exploring their new love. In a race against the clock, Ryann learns she must plead for Quinn's life before…the Eve of Samhain. Determined to end her lover's suffering, not even the danger dogging her every move can keep her from her mission.

Eve of Samhain (The Hanaford Park Series, 1) |
Ryann is a 21 year old server at a hot nightclub and then she meets Quinn. A man who exudes sex in a arrogant but attractive way, as much as she doesn't want to like him she finds herself getting drawn to him.
Quinn though is under a 500 year curse. He and Ryann can not touch each other or he any other without them actually losing their minds. The Eve of Samhain signals the end for Quinn unless the curse can be broken, is Ryann the one to end it?
Ok I'm probably going to not be able to think straight for a while after reading this book. I think I lost my mind. In a good way! I'm in love with Quinn...
From the moment Ryann saw him I was in a pure state of lust! When the curse was revealed I was very disappointed as I knew the sexy bits would be few. But that made it all the more intriguing, much like Ryann you find yourself wanting and waiting.
Ryann is an all round balanced character; strong but emotional, determined but yet also unsure of her ownself. Much aspects that we all go through and in particular when faced with the love of your life being taken away by a curse! I did like Ryann's little moments of putting her foot in it, added humour where it actually had me laughing out loud at several parts.
Very intrigued to learn more about Martha; the housemate, felt there was much more to learn. As this is a debut novel I didn't find much wrong at all, in fact it's probably one of the best reads I've read in a while. I was totally intrigued by the first page and was sad when it ended. I look forward to reading more from this author. Absolutely loved it!
