After rescuing his brothers from Zacharov's retribution and finding out that Lila, the girl he has loved his whole life, will never, ever be his now that his mother has worked her, Cassel is trying to reestablish some kind of normalcy in his life. That was never going to be easy for someone from a worker family tied to one of the big crime families and a mother whose cons get more reckless by the day. But Cassel is also coming to terms with what it means to be a transformation worker and figuring out how to have friends.
But normal doesn't last very long--soon Cassel is being courted by both sides of the law and is forced to confront his past. A past he remembers only in scattered fragments and one that could destroy his family and his future. Cassel will have to decide whose side he wants to be on because neutrality is not an option. And then he will have to pull off his biggest con ever to survive.

Red Glove (Curse Workers, Book 2) |
*Contain Spoilers for the previous book in the series.
After the crazy cliffhanger in White Cat, I was extremely happy that I had Red Glove waiting in the wings. I will say that you White Cat fans, will NOT be disappointed!
Red Glove starts off a few months after the events in White Cat. Cassel’s mom is out of jail and finishing up the summer in Atlantic City with Cassel, coning rich men out of their money. Cassel goes back to school soon and has to deal with a surprised, Lila is also studying there and his plan of avoiding her, after his mom worked her to love him, goes down the drain.
Not only that, but FBI agents want Cassel to help solve a murder that might be part of a series of murders and Zacharov wants to hire him to do his dirty work. Cassel finds himself in an impossible situation with no one to trust but his friends Sam and Daneca, even though that he can’t never tell the whole truth to them.
Red Glove is such an awesome book! White Cat set the bar very high, but Red Glove is right up there, with an awesome plot and Cassel more devious than ever. More secrets come out, more lies are told and another amazing book is ready to be devoured. If you loved White Cat as much as I did, Red Glove is a must read!
