Total fan girl moment right now! My favorite M/M Romance author is here! YAY! Check Out the interview bellow and the giveaway at the bottom…
Enjoy!
Favorites: - Favorite Movie? I love movies! I can't pick one. My most recent favorite was an underrated historical called The Eagle. It's sort of a buddy film, only set in ancient Britain. - Favorite Book? Same problem as above. I'm reading a lot of Raymond Chandler at the moment. So...The Lady in the Lake by Raymond Chandler - Favorite Author? Raymond Chandler as of this minute - Favorite Genre that is NOT your own? Fantasy - Favorite one of your Books? Snowball in Hell Quickies! - Reading or Writing? For fun? Reading. - Print or eBook? Surely it's not an either/or question! - Hardback or Paperback? Depends - Pepsi or Coke? Coke - Mc D's or Burger King? Ugh - Library or Bookstore? I like 'em both equally - Summer or Winter? Winter - The Movie or The Book? The book - Romance or Action? Action
- What is your favorite part of the writing process? I love the writing process. There's not a lot about it I don't love, although I guess I've been doing it for long enough that I don't take a particularly romantic view of it. At the moment the thing I most appreciate is the fact that it allows me to make my own hours and my own schedule, and that I work for myself. As insecure a business as it is, in this economy it's a relief to know that I'm not dependent on anyone but myself. - What is your least favorite part? Deadlines. Granted, I'm not sure I would ever finish anything without them. - Which Series are still writing for right now? I'm working on a couple of series at the moment. There is the Holmes & Moriarity series, which is a comic mystery series. There's the Dangerous Ground series, which is an action-adventure series. There's the A Shot in the Dark series, that's a new 1930s series -- sort of a gay Thin Man series. There's also The Doyle and Spain series, another historical mystery series set during World War II. Snowball in Hell is the first book. - I LOVED Your Adrien English Mystery series, any plans for at least a short story with Adrien and Jake? Thank you very much! There will eventually -- meaning, I have no particular date in mind -- be a short story or perhaps a novella featuring Jake and Adrien, so readers can see what they're up to since The Dark Tide. - What is coming up next for you? Lots and lots of stuff that I hope readers will enjoy. In June I've got a very angsty, romantic novel coming from Samhain publishing. It's called Come Unto These Yellow Sands, and although it's a mystery, it's a mystery from the standpoint of a character who doesn't like mysteries and has no desire to solve one. - What are you working on right now? Right now I'm putting together a bunch of proposals for the second half of the year, including a Christmas story for Carina Press. - Do you have any advice or tip to those like me that want to become a published Author someday? Sometimes it seems to me that every blogger and reviewer on the web is an aspiring writer! So I guess my advice would be to remember that there's a LOT of competition waiting in the wings, and that it's better to take your time and write the very best first novel you can. Ebooks make it possible for too many people to be published before they're ready. That means they get a reputation for writing crap and their careers never go anywhere. Take your time and write the very best book of which you're capable of writing. The world always needs more good books, and if your work is good, you'll find a home for it. - Anything you would like to say to your fans out there? Thank you very sincerely for buying my work. - Thanks so much for being here! Thank you for having me, Larissa.

xoxo,
I just became a Josh stalker...er, fan ;) I recently read the Adrien mysteries (Jake fan here!). Wonderful writer and story teller (did I mention I like Jake?). Would love to win this book. Eventually I will own them all, cause Josh is all that *and a bag of chips :)
Larissa, you always feature the coolest authors on here! Seriously, I always find awesome sounding books on her I have never heard of before! So thanks!
;)
I have heard so much about this author and have yet to read a book by him. So, thanks for the giveaway!
Awesome interview and giveaway!
I loved learning more about the author and I really need to read more of these books!
Thanks so much for the giveaway I'd love a chance to win this book. I have yet to read one of his books but I loved the interview and will definately start.

I totally agree with Josh's advice about waiting to put out a book until it's the best it can be. I've read lots of books published by Indie authors that are sorely in need of an editor and it doesn't help the author's reputation at all to put out such poor product.
By the way, when I tried to fill out the form, I wasn't able to select more than one item in the extra entries section so my entries are as follows:

I knew there had to be other sensible people out there who prefer winter to summer.
Thanks so much for the opportunity to appear on your blog, Larissa! It's much appreciated.
Seriously, Eva! Could there even be any question about the season that has Christmas and fireplaces and cashmere sweaters and hot cocoa with Schnapps!
Hey Larissa, I was having problems with the form too. :(
And the interview was a bit hard for me to read because the answers weren't very visible. :((
I hadn't heard of this author before, but I think I need to make time to check out his work. I really enjoy M/M romance stories.
Personally I would LOVE to see more Adrien English. Well, I would.
So sorry everyone!! I have fixed the form!!!!
Sorry, the form didn't work for me either and I think I did it wrong. Being expected to do math first thing in the morning is cruel and unusual punishment. heh heh. But no worries, interesting interview all the same.
I enjoyed the interview, but would have liked a little more about current releases.
Thanks for the giveaway. Tore923@aol.com
Just a quick stop cos so tired.
Nice interview, haven't read any books by him hut I have sure heard a lot
I'm a big fan of Josh Lanyon's works. I fell in love with Adrien and Jake and now I love Holmes & Moriarity.
As always, I look forward in reading his works.
Thanks,
Tracey D
There's the A Shot in the Dark series, that's a new 1930s series
*Spitzt die Ohren* A new series? Thirties sounds promising - any more details?
I couldn't read everything because of some formatting problems @.@ The text just ran off the page and under the stuff on the side. Aaaanyways...
Can't speak for everyone, but you don't have to thank us for buying your works, it's a pleasure!
I've got a few of your books on my TBR list. Haven't gotten my hands on any yet, but I'll have to rectify that soon!
Interesting interview. Thanks for the writing advice/tip!
