Maddie has more problems than the average seventeen-year-old:
A psychotic killer with superpowers wants her dead.
A serious medical issue makes a "normal" life impossible for her.
And she's about to be introduced to Trevor's grandparents.
Guess which one freaks her out the most? The Ganzfield series continues in this third installment.

Legacy (The Third Ganzfield Novel) |
*contains spoilers if you haven’t read the previous books in the series and NO Spoilers for Legacy!
I was so pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Minder and Adversary that I was really excited when I got a chance to read the eARC for Legacy. I just felt like I needed a little more from the Ganzfield world and Legacy definitely gave me that and more!
After the massacre that happened in Adversary, Ganzfield is trying to pick up it’s pieces and put itself back together. Maddie’s mom has joined the school and one of Maddie’s friends has just gotten some life changing news whilst trying to cope with the lost of her boyfriend. Not to mention that more and more people are gathering at Ganzfield, including a Charmer that has her sights set on Trevor.
That’s only inside Ganzfield, outside, their good old enemy is on the hunt after being exposed to his fanatic followers. He has decided to wipe all the supernaturals off the face of the earth and the only thing Maddie and her friends can do is go on the offensive.
I really enjoyed Legacy, a little less than Minder and Adversary, but it was still a great book. The thing that bothers me is that even though Maddie and Trevor acknowledge their attraction and the fact that they want to have sex, Maddie keeps saying that their “soulmating” {an extreme joint of minds} is so intense and pleasurable that sex might not compare. That might be true, but it sounds sometimes as a device from the author to keep Maddie and Trevor from actually having sex. I might be completely off base here, but it feels like that at times.
Regardless, I love this series and I am very interested in seeing where Kate will take Maddie and her friends. A lot changes in Legacy and I for one am really looking forward to seeing where the series goes!

xoxo,
I'm really enjoying 'Minder' (review to come soon). Can't wait to read the other books in the series :)
Great review!
Lol, that does sound like something so that she does not have to write about those two having sex:)
Love this series! Great review!
I'm secretly hoping they get it on for real though. And I really like Zach! I was hoping for a triangle with him but he is totally cute with that other girl.
I'm not going to lie, the covers don't really do anything for me. If I were to see them in a bookstore I would just pass them by... But the story sounds great (so shame on me for judging a book by its cover)!
Thanks for the great (spoiler free) review!
;)
Gosh you make me so impatient to start this series!
I ordered the first book in December and I still havent gotten it from BookDepository! :(

@Avery
I agree with you... and honestly I would have missed quite the series if I had let the covers talk =/
@Kelly
Awwww I hope you get it soon!! =DDD
Thanks for reviewing, Larissa!
BTW, given your comments, I think you'll like how things develop in ACCUSED (hint, hint). :)
I definitely want to give this series a try, I've been seeing it around a lot lately! Your thoughts on them not having sex are interesting, the "soulmating" thing does sound like a bit of an excuse, or at least a reason for them to hold off a while longer. Looking forward to these books Larissa!
These sound really great. I love the covers. They are so unique.
@Kate
oh my! I need to re-read the comments and obsess now LOL Thanks! =P
