Unidentified Redhead: When Grace Sheridan returns to Los Angeles to become a working actor, it's a second shot at a life-long dream. With some help from her best friend and agent, that dream could become a reality, but at thirty-three, has Grace missed her chance at the big time? Will an unexpected sizzling romance with the entertainment industry's newest 'it' boy shine an uncomfortable spotlight on her life?
Alice Clayton spins a playful and erotic May to December romance in this, her debut novel. Clayton's funny, borderline neurotic heroine is perfect in her imperfections, and the off the charts sexual chemistry between her and her charming, yet blissfully unaware leading man are the true heart of The Unidentified Redhead. With laugh out loud dialogue and a super steamy romance that will get your heart racing, sneaking around in L.A. and dodging the Paparazzi has never been so fun.

I’ve always had a bit of prejudice against contemporary romances. It’s not their fault , it’s just that I have my personal issues and they usually deal with things that are too close for comfort, so I’d usually rather get lost in the Paranormal because is much less relatable LOL. Well, in 2010 I made a point of giving Contemporaries a chance and I’m glad I did, because I’ve read some great ones.
I saw the Redhead books reviewed at two of my favorite blogs {ALPHA Reader & Book Addict Patti} and I just had to request them to Micha from Omnific. He was awesome and during the New Years weekend I was finally able to dig into them. I don’t know what took me so long!
Grace Sheridan left her hometown to try her luck in Hollywood, after a few months of trial and error she gave up and went back to her small town. That was 10 years and another college degree ago, now 33 year-old Grace has a successful home business, but her heart still lies with performing. So, she sets off back to L.A., rooms with her Hollywood Agent best friend and decided to give her acting career a second chance.
In enters 24 year-old Jack Hamilton, young soon-to-be Hollywood star. He and Grace hit it off, right off the bat and what was supposed to be a simple no strings attached thing, turns into true love and a lot of problems.
I LOVED these books! Not only was Grace and Jack’s chemistry off the roof, but their romance was an utterly captivating and engaging one that I couldn’t help but gobble it up as fast as I could. Jack and Grace are HOT and mean really, really HOT together! That’s all I’ve got to say about that LOL
I also loved how different and perfect for each other Jack aka Sweetnuts and Gracie were. She is full of hang-ups about being older than Jack and about him being on the spotlight and he is just ready to be with her, for better or for worse. I found myself wanting to kick Grace in the head sometimes, but I did understand her lack of self-confidence.
I am so glad that there will be a third in this series, I think my life would be a little less without Grace and Jack in it… so, bring it on Alice! I want more! If you enjoy reading a romance with a lot of heart, heat and utterly HILARIOUS, this is the series for you! I mean it, get it NOW! =D
