To start off this last week of 2010, I’m going to look back at this past year and ponder on the things that made me *Squee with joy and the things that made me swear like a sailor {not that I don’t usually LOL}.
Let’s she the 5 reasons I loved 2010 and the 5 reasons I didn’t love it so much, side by side, shall we?
*in no particular order
AAD X Leaving Israel
Getting to go to The AAD and the NY Comic Con back in September were definitely highlights for me!
I had tons of fun and am really looking forward to going again in 2011.
X
Moving back to Rio, Brazil from Tel Aviv, Israel definitely Sucked =/
I do like Rio, but I loved Tel Aviv and I never felt so much at home like I did there.
Moving back wasn’t my choice and I would have rather stayed and finished my University there.
Acknowledgement in “Sin Undone” X The End
X
Being mentioned in Larissa Ione’s acknowledgement in her Sin Undone book was a freak out moment for me.
Larissa is one of my favorite authors, not to mention that she has a great name, and she remembering me that way was nothing short of amazing to me!
I’m really happy I’ll get to meet her at AAD next year!
X
This year a lot of my fave series ended and that Sucked!
The Vampire Academy series, The Hunger Games Trilogy, The Demonica series and Rachel Vincent’s Werecats series are just a few that left me wanting more and more!
All The Traveling I did X All The Traveling I did
X
Ok, so I LOVE to travel and come midnight on December 31st, I will have visited 6 countries and many more cities in 2010.
I had a BLAST and loved every minute of it…
X
But, I am tired of traveling… I want my bed, my room, my things.
Living out of your luggage can be fun but it gets annoying, not to mention how uncomfortable economic class on planes is =/
I won;t complain much though, I did have an amazing traveling year in 2010!
Blogging X Pain
X
I LOVE blogging and this year was really amazing in large part because of this blog.
I’ve had a lot of fun and have been honored to meet some of my favorite authors ever, being in person or through online interviews and all because of you all!
Thank you!
X
Pain! I don;t know if any of you know, my tweeps might, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis Juvenile since I was 11 years old and I have suffered from pains in ALL my joints since then. The disease has been stationary for a long time, but I still have pain…
laying down in one position or spending hours sitting in front of my computer like I have done this year can be a killer…
So the pain has definitely Sucked!
Living Close to one BFF X Leaving Far from other BFFs
X
Even though I wasn’t particularly happy with moving back to Rio, the best thing was that me and my BFF now live closer and we get to hang out almost every weekend =D
X
I have friends living in Israel, Canada, US… I miss them all! =/
Hope you enjoyed my special Top 5!

xoxo,
You have traveled a lot this year - you're like Carmen Sandiego!
I hope 2011 brings much happiness and sexy reading :)
2010 for me:
ROCKED: Graduating from University
SUCKED: Will now have to get a full-time job... someone hire me, PLEASE?!
2010 Rocked- Mind Games/Double Cross by Carolyn Crane, Spider's Bite/Venom/Web Of Lies by Jennifer Estep, Demonica books 4&5 by Larissa Ione
2010 Sucked- End of Werecats Series by Rachel Vincent, The Gates cancelled after less than 10 shows and biggest suck of all for me in 2010 was being sick since beginning of the year with sinus infections!
My most frustrating suck of 2010 my lovely headaches caused by eye strain from too much time reading books and the computer, I refuse to stop doing either as blogging and blogging community has kept me sane since losing my father in 2009!
So this one is a rock and suck both I guess!
jackie >_<
@Dani
crossing my fingers hoping you get a job soon!
@Jackie
Thanks for sharing hon! That 2011 is much better for you!
Blogging has helped me A LOT too! =D
xoxo
I wish I could of traveled as much as you did. I can't wait for the new year!!
Ohhh would have loved to travel as much as you did :)
Great year, but do take care of yourself
SO many great series ended this year, so I'm with you on that sucking! I'm thinking a lot of great new series are going to start in 2011 so maybe that will make up for it, but I was very sad to read Alpha and Sin Undone, I wasn't ready to say goodbye to those characters! And I'm so sorry to hear about your Arthritis:(
@Savannah
hehe thanks! I cant either =P
@Blodeuedd
Thanks hon! I will! =)
@Jenny
I wasnt ready to let go either, but your right, lets hope the new series fill the void LOL
Thanks! I've had it for a long time, it hurts, but Im mostly used to it lOL
I hope that 2011 will just totally rock for you with no suckage about! You rock and just need a totally rockin' year.
@Melissa
awww Thats so sweet! Thanks hon =D
I will miss the Demonica series too but we got her new series coming out soon . YAY!!! and that had to be so cool to be included in the end.!!
What rocked for me in 2010 is : Finding this whole blogging community you guys have been awesome for a newbie like me.
Finding more wonderful authors and reads as well. Can't wait to dig into my huge list.
What sucked about 2010- had some personal losses this year and I will miss them terribly.
Here's to a rockin , hot steamy 2011!!!
@BLH
it was surreal! =)
awww hun *hugs* I hope 2011 is full of happiness and joy for you!
Awesome list. You have had some nice high points. Especially the travel, the mention in the book, and the new york comi con.
Sorry about moving away from friends. That does stink. And ou know how I feel about the end of the series thing, especially Vampire Academy. I absolutley hate living out of a suitcase. I usually try to unpack and hang things up when Im somewhere for a while.
My year wasnt much to mention. There was a few big crappy things, but there over and not really worth mentioning. I did get to come home for christmas and that was great.
@Brandi
Thanks hon! there is no space in my room to hang things... that sucks LOL
Glad you got to go back home... hope 2011 rocks for you! =D
