“True love’s path never did run smooth.
Granite Lake Wolves, Book 3
After seven years of total denial, Maggie Raynor’s body—and her inner wolf—are in full revolt. Weak and shaky, she literally falls into the very large and capable arms of the Granite Lake Beta, Erik Costanov. The last thing she wants is a mate, particularly when just looking at another wolf scares her to death. And one as big and sexy as Erik? Really bad idea, no matter what her libido says.
Erik expected to meet Maggie in Whitehorse to escort her to the home of her sister, his pack’s Omega. Sheer chance puts him in the right place at the right time to catch her, but the realization that hits him with the force of a full body shot is no accident. She’s his mate. An even bigger shock? She wants no part of him—not until she resolves her issues.
She’ll have to work fast, because they’re both selected to represent the pack during the premier sporting event for wolves in the north. Not only will she have to work as a team with Erik, she’ll have to face down her fear of wolves. Especially her own.
Let the Games begin.”

After the 2 first books in Vivian’s Granite Lake Wolves series, i came to expect a lot from her. I was not disappointed. In this third installment we get to see Keil’s beta, Erik find his mate.
However, Maggie, Missy’s sister, has a dark past and is traumatized, which resulted in her being afraid of being around other wolves and of shifting into her wolf form.
Maggie has decided to confront her fears and moves to her sister’s pack, and that is when she meet Erik. She needs to take things slow and even though Erik can’t wait to get her under him, complies.
As a game of faith, Maggie and Erik are both drawn to enter the Wolf Games, where they will compete along with 2 other pack members against packs from all over the world. It will be a test for Maggie’s fear at the least.
I loved the story in this book. It was really fast paced, interesting and sexy. there was less smexing than in the previous ones, but it was definitely sizzle worthy.
Again, the only complain I have is that it’s too short. I want more and more and more! LOL =)
Smut level: 4/5! =)

Sounds great! I'll have to check this series out.
I seriously have to read this series! Thanks for the review. The first werewolf book I read was Blood and Chocolate by Klaus, and that was the point when I fell in love with wolves. This book also sounds like it has a great plot, and I love fast-paced books!
Your only complaint is that it was too short?! Wow! I definitely have to check out this series!!
