Hey everyone! I hope all my American Followers and Readers had an Amazing Thanksgiving. I am Thankful for all of you. I ended up going to a small last minute TG dinner at Sagi' s house. It was fun, but I wasn't in much of a socializing mood =/ Though I did have a very productive Friday =)
I am going to be alternating my Reviews with series and books for a while. I need to Catch up with the books I have read, so I can start posting reviews on books coming out.
I am going to start with The Accidental Series by Dakota Cassidy. I find that this series is extremely unappreciated, since I never see no one talking about it around BlogLand. I can't remember how I found this series out, but I am glad I did.
Dakota Cassidy's style of writing is very reminiscent of MaryJanice Davidson's Betsy and Wyndham Wolves series. However, I feel that Dakota has her own voice, and it is definitely an awesome one at that.
The Accidental Friends Series if hilarious. It goes through a group of three friends and the sudden changes that goes through their lives. One becomes a Werewolf, the second a Vampire and the third? Well, I can't tell you the third hehe *evil grin
The friendship between these three Women is so great and their leading men are so hawt. There is a lot of hawtness going on in this series. The sex scenes are so awesome and in perfect balance with the plot.
You can check out a summary of each book HERE.
I found out a few months back, that a new book was coming out in the series. I was like "Hell Yeah, I gotta get that!" So, I pre-ordered it on Amazon. The new one is "Accidentally Demonic" here's the cover and Summary:
"Once a good girl goes bad.
When mild-mannered Casey Schwartz wakes up in jail with no memory of ho
w she got there she realizes two things: something weird is going on and orange is definitely not her color. After her sister bail
s her out, Casey has more to deal with than a foggy memory—like abrupt mood swings and fireballs shooting from her fingertips. But things really go south when a vampire
shows up on her doorstep...
She’s impossible to resist.
Clayton Gunnersson is seriously hot. And seriously taken—by a demon. In a ritual gone wrong, Clayton tried to free himself from
his unwanted bond, but spilled some demonic blood on Casey. So now, Clayton’s spurned mate is inside of Casey—and she’s not happy about it. Neither is Casey, who can’t escape
this bizarre love triangle. It’s hard enough being possessed by a demon. Falling for that demon’s boyfriend could get Casey killed—from the inside
out…"
Dakota also had a few standalone novels. I bought one a little while that is in my TBR list. Here is the cover and Summary as well:
"She's never seen a sexier ghost.
Delaney Markham doesn't just see dea
d people, she hears them too. And FYI-communicating with tortured souls all day can really wreak havoc on your love life. After all, no one wants to date the craz
y chick that talks to herself. Sans boyfriend, Delaney makes the best of her gift by holding séances and earns a pretty penny for them too, that is until one incredibly annoying ghost
just won't go away.
Now, if she could only get her hands on him.
When he materializes wearing nothing, Delaney knows something's up. Besides being sinfully hot-in a college professor sort of way-all signs point to Clyde Atwell being much more
than the ordinary spirit. In fact, he's a newbie demon whose first assignment is to take Delaney back down to hell with him. Yeah, like that's gonna happen on the first date. If Delaney's old nemesis Lucifer thinks sh
e's going down without one hell of a fight, he's got another thing coming…"
I give 4 loveys for this series =)))
and 3.5/5 Smut Level for My Smut Sisters =)
Well, that's it for now =)

Nice Review love, I will have to look into this series. Have something to add to my TBR list! YAY. Super excited about upcoming SSF 09! Woo hoo!
aw, thanks for the great review, babe--and I gotta tell ya, when the first book hit--it was insanity. LOLLOL. So don't feel like it's under appreciated--it got more than it's fair share of publicity, and the series has gone crazy well. I'm grateful to everyone who crated such buzz about it, and who continue to buy it four books deep :)
You're just a little late to the party, babe--but glad you made it anyhow!
DC :)

These books all look so good now i have to read them :P
These look absolutely adorable! And somehow I'd never heard of them! thanks for the recommendation. :-)
These look really good and I am adding them to my TBR list. Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic Fiction recommended this series if you're a fan of the Queen Betsy books (which I am) but I wasn't sure about them. I love the cover art, but was a little iffy on the books since (like you said) nobody in the book blogosphere talks about or reviews them.
Now that they have your endorsement I'll give 'The Accidental Werewolf" a go.
Thanks!
I have Kiss & Hell on my Xmas wishlist and will have to add the others too! Sounds great hun!
Great review as always girl! Another series to add to my ever-growing TBR list.
@Sagi yes you should hun hehe =))
@brismus Thats why I felt the need to make ppl more aware of it =))) they are really cool!
@Steph I will always share my passion with you guys. I hope you like them =)))
@Danielle I'm glad you are going to give them a chance, it is a great series. I guess its been out of the limelight because of the gap between bk3 and 4 =))) can't wait to read you review on it =)))
@Susi I have that one on my shelf, gotta get cracking LOL Dakota told me there will be a sequel to Kiss and Hell next year =)))
@READFREEK my TBR list is gonna blow up at any second hehe =) hope you like it!
