Stone Cold Revenge
is the second book in the trilogy Set in Stone and without having read the
first one Stone Cold Seduction I had many blanks.
In this second installment we follow
Elle (aka Elleodora Fredericks the princess of the Shadow Elves) as she accepts
the offer of her father Jedren and moves in with him in order to be trained and
become officially his heir.
In a world were gargoyles are sexy,
phoenixes are super hot (!!!) gods, demi-gods and fairy godmothers are in
existence I’m sure you understand anything can happen!
Elle after having
her memory wiped clean most of her life is suddenly discovering what abilities
the daughter of the King of shadow elves and a Goddess might have and by her
side she has her mates…..yes, you read well she has two mates (!!!) Jax the
gargoyle and MacLean the phoenix, her best friend Teryl the oracle, her god
uncle Elion and her fairy godmother Luna.
As things get complicated souls and people start to disappear, oracles
are driven almost to madness Elle seems unable to find the strength to find her
place in the chaos. She is constantly complaining and doubting everyone and
everything and she appears to be almost in denial about everything that is
happening around her, hopefully at the end of the book we witness her coming
around but only when her loved ones are in jeopardy.
If you are a fan of UF Stone Cold
Revenge is the book for you, it has a good story with interesting word building
and heart wrenching plot but make sure to read the books in order.
