One of my favorite Halloween memories is me and my sister dressed up in matching clown costumes. :)
Oh I remember getting this huge pillowcase full of candy and I stashed that thing in mu closet until spring eating off it (wait it gets worse) Then we left on spring break somewhere and that bag was in the closet with a closed up house and it got to be over a 100 degrees and while I was gone the candy melted and oozed all over my favorite pillow case of treasure and into the carpet..... Holy cow it was nasty and that was what I remember coming home to after a week.

One of my stellar Halloween memories was when I was 16 and my bff and I, obviously too old for trick or treating, decided to go for broke lol
We must of changed costumes half a dozen times and scoured the whole beach side for candy, coming home with large grocery bags full! (which we definitely shared with our younger siblings)
Favorite Halloween memory...hmmmm...I guess it would have to be the time my dad actually went with me trick or treating. I think I was like six. He took me around the town. If you knew my dad, you would know he isn't the type to take his kids trick or treating lol.
My fav memory is taking my son and his friends trick-or-treating.
When I was a child we never went trick-or-treating so it was a lot of fun for me to take my son.
My favorite was spending the Halloween with my partner. It was a Halloween party and we spent it with friends.
It was the first halloween I spent in this house and I prepared little treat bags for my neighbours' kids and they came knocking one by one in cute costumes. I never did that before while I was renting. I was always at work or out partying myself. That was the first of many halloweens where I get to hand out treats to my neighbours' kids... now it sort of a tradition...

one of my favorite halloween memories was last year - getting my 4 year old daughter to dress up as a vampire and pulling her around in the wagon for trick or treating. I loved how she would get into her character and show her fangs to people.

In the city I live in, there is a street called Elm Street, and one of the persons who lived on the street would decorate his house to reflect Nightmare on Elm Street and he would dress up as Freddy Krueger. As kids we were all scared to go up to the house, but we did anyways. It was great!
One of my favorite memories would be trick or treating when I was younger and then going to a carnival at my uncle's church!
Thanks for this awesome giveaway! I love the shirts!

My favorite Halloween moment was my 21st B-day (yes, it is on Halloween) where my now hubby and I had our first date. I also threw a raging kegger, got totally smashed, and had an all around awesome night as the she-devil in my slinky red dress. *sigh*
We don't celebrate Halloween in my country so I don't have one!

My favourite halloween memory??? Absolutely last year...the best masquerade party ever, never had fun like that!!!
Here in Italy we're not used to trick or treating never done it, not even when i was a child but we're used to party all night, we're good at it lol =) really good
My favorite Halloween memory? There are a lot of them because my birthday is the next day, so there's always celebration going on as well as the normal Halloween stuff. The one that comes to mind was wonderful because I spent it with my sister and her family and I now live across the country. We took the little ones trick or treating, I visited a haunted house at my sister's neighbor's (sis was afraid to go). Then we handed out candy, watched movies and ate my favorite birthday treat, pumpkin pie!
In my country we don't do Trick or Treat..but we have costumed partyes ..
And like two years ago i was with my crazy bestfriend A at a party.I was dressed like nurse and she was a kitty.and there were a lot of mt friends from school, and even a phew a didn't know ...like this new kid ...that was supposed to be in my class starting the next week(It was just a roumor at that time)...And so ..i was telling her how cool it will be if G. will be in my class, him being hot and all ,,and i heard that he likes to watch anime and listen to rock...*dreamy eyes* And...out of nowhere ...tripped over something..and spilled my drink over his Zomby Costume....but wait..not only that but i fall on him..not something pleaseant..since i'm skinny ...
Skiping this suckish part..i offered to help him clean while i was apoplogizing...But he told me "Since you're the nurse you have to help me,cuz i'm injured...might as well do that on a date..."
And i was just stunned...but agreed ..finally ...Guess he choose to arrage our date in his first day in my class.....
I'm still with him...So ....
Too much rambling ...Sorry :)
My favorite memory is a cautionary tale for all those kids trick or treating. No, it's not scary, but heed my warning! *turns off scary music*
My best friend's dad made the most authentic and coolest Darth Vader helment (before you could buy them in stores) and costume. I just had some stupid made up witchy costume (not great, but hey, it's for candy). Anyhoo... we were going trick or treating when we found out why you should never do that in a very cool costume. Everyone stopps you to take a picture, show Uncle Ed (who just happened to be visiting), show the dog... whatever. Took us FOREVER to get our candy. So, wear the cool costume for your friends, but switch into something average when you go out for candy. Learn our lesson kiddies.. ;)
Hi,
My favorite memory was the first year my daughter was old enough to enjoy the spirit of Halloween..I still can see her smile and hear her laughter now..
Good Luck To All..

Well I've got plenty of awesome Halloween memories, but my favourite is from when I was younger, maybe 9 or 10, and m grandma used to take me, my brother and my cousins trick or treating. She'd drive us all over the countryside and we'd all end up with at least one pillow case full of goodies. It's also one of my favourite memories of my grandma, which makes it mean even more. :)
Thanks for the chance to win :)
Happy Early Halloween! :D

Halloween isn't my favorite time of year. But there was one, when I was a kid. There was a snow storm and my siblings and i decided tog o out anyways. Not many kids did, so we got lots of extra candy.not only did we get the candy but we had snowball fights.
As an adult seeing my nieces and nephews dressing up and going out for the first time are great memories.
We had a huge snow storm one Halloween. Got 10 inches and school was canceled. So few kids were out that I got a TON of candy.
I can't pick just one, but I can narrow it to three lol
1.My youngest son's birthday is the day before Halloween, so we always make this holiday an extra special occasion. So my favorite would have to be that Halloween morning when I held that beautiful child in my arms the first time.
2.The Halloween party we had where each child had to wrap their parent in toilet paper mummy style without the tp breaking. It was so funny!
3.Last year trick-or-treating at the Aquarium and watching the divers carve jack-o-lanterns in the tank with the sharks.
My favorite Halloween memory is decorating the sun room with my friend in fake spider webs and a strobe-lights, playing Halloween music and dressing up so that we could pass out candy for the first time. It was almost as much fun as trick-or-treating.

Not really my fav Halloween memory but it was an interesting night. I took my a friends kids trick or treating dressed as Elvira did I mention I wore heels...not a good night for the feet. But it was so much fun for them.
Hi, Larissa! We don't celebrate Halloween here, so no Halloween memories from me, but can I still enter? ;) I just love, love those shirts! :)
My favorite memory is from last year, when I organized a party with my friends and we dressed up as zombies ;D
Seeing as Halloween is a couple days before Guy Fawkes, people do fireworks! So it's lovely to watch.
My fav was my daughter's first Halloween. She was barely walking, too young I thought, but her cousin threw a pillowcase over her, cut a couple of eye holes, and off they went.

Sorry, no Halloween here in South Africa - hope I can still enter?

Favorite memory...dressing up as a ghost (sheet over head with eye holes) and rollerskating around the neighborhood to get candy. Got around pretty fast!
Unfortunately no Halloween memory for me . We don't have Halloween in my country.

My favorite memories were deciding on what costume to wear. The parties they had back in elementary school. Going Tick or Treating of course!
I remember one year, I was having surgery sometime close to Halloween and my grandma made me my favorite sugar cutout cookies that are usually only made at Xmas time and she made them with Halloween cookie cutters.
My favourite Halloween memory would definitely have to be when I grade 8 and my friends and I all dressed up as the Harry Potter gang.
Thanks for the great contest!
:)

My favorite memory is of getting all my local cousins together and we would all go trick-or-treating and then trade each other for our favorite candy and I would always trade my chocolate for fruit flavored tootsie rolls, so everyone wanted to trade with me :0)

My favorite Halloween memory:
I try to make all of them great but my favorite is Halloween 2006. That was the first year we built our home & just in time for our very first holiday, Halloween ;D
I wanted all 13 new neighbors to know, that even though we didn't build a mansion like they did, that we are fun people & we have nice decorations too. We had almost the whole acre filled, looking like it was a Cemetery. We built & painted a few dozen tombstones & placed skeletons or monsters around them. Some of the graves had hands coming out of the earth & one w/a skeleton butt coming out first. Everyone seemed to get a kick out of that one.. There were flying ghosts & witches & hanging bats. We had lots of carved pumpkins in a pumpkin patch area w/different lighted glowing eyes. On the country porch I had two huge spider webs, one on each side of the porch with huge lighted spiders in the web & 3 moving ones on the porch itself. Every year more & more got added but due to a very untimely loss in the family a few years ago we haven't decorated or celebrated any of the holidays. It wasn't until this post that reminded me how much I've missed doing this. Looks like I'm back & next year we'll be decorating again.

Probably the year I was eleven and me, my sister, and all her fourth grade friends all got stuck in the 'after-dark' version of the local theme park. See, it was my sister's birthday and we had just finished an exhausting day of riding roller coasters, etc... and we didn't realize the 'haunted' park came to life after seven PM. Scare-o-winds is this awesome theme park in Charlotte, NC which has Halloween events and celebrations for kids during the day all through October... and becomes a haunted theme park where the employees dress up in terrifying costumes and basically chase people around. We were all scared out of our minds and desperately seeking out the exit, but, seriously, getting chased by mutant clowns is about as scary as it gets, especially when you're eleven. Wow, I miss being able to trick-or-treat without people giving me dirty looks or turning off their front porch lights when they see me coming!
My best memory of Halloween was when I was maybe 10 and it was my first time actually going trick or treating. I went with all my cousins and we went around their area. I remember one of their neighbour's house at the end of their road was extremely enthusiastic and tried to scare us. When we knocked on their door, it opened very slowly and the lights were off. Then they played a fake gun shot noise and they jumped out from behind the door as the light went on. It gave us a little scare but was pretty funny too. Once we got back home we had a bag full of lollies, chocolates and were extremely hyperactive! And well...we didn't get much sleep that night from all the sugar.
We don't really celebrate Halloween and is such a shame because I can see Halloween masks and smiley pumpkins and little ghosts in stores, but is more commercial. Anyway, when I was little my sister and I dressed up as a ghost and a fairy and we asked our grandfather to carve smiley faces but in watermelons(they had many watermelons). Maybe the first time we kind of celebrated Halloween. (^_^)
When I was a kid, there was a time I was obsessed with Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.
Of course I didn't have any boobs back then, but one Halloween, my mom made me an Elvira Halloween costume and even let me use balloons as fake boobs. It was awesome! Every time I look back at pictures, I laugh for hours.
Thanks for the giveaway. I filled out the form, but I'm afraid it didn't go through. Should I do it again?
*hugs*

My favorite memory is the year I went as Morticia from the Addams family. My mother made my costume.

I don't really have any favorite halloween memories. We lived way out in the country and didn't have any neighbors very close by so my parents just bought us the candy we wanted and we stayed home.
My fave memory of halloween was going to the pumkin patch and the hayride out to find the perfect pumpkin.
Megankyser at gmail dot com
mine would be,
staying at home,
watching tv, reading in conjunction with halloween.
considering the fact that halloween is not celebrated in my country,
I think this would be counted as an 'okay' expereince.

Halloween is my favorite time of year. I have so many wonderful memories. Many years ago, I was strolling through Salem just before Halloween and a group approached me asking when the tour began. Tour? They had mistaken me for one of the Haunted Salem tour guides. I was tempted to give them a bit of misdirection, my Halloween trick for the day, but ended up admitting that I was not a tour guide. I’m still not sure if it was my long black cape, bustle skirt, or make-up that led to their assumption, but it was all very amusing.

My favorite Halloween moment would be taking our son trick or treating for the first time. He was 2 1/2. He would go to the door (loved ringing the door bell w/my help) but when the door opened he would run back to the road. It was so funny. He just wouldn't stay at the door so I got the candy for him. The next year was better when he realized he got to eat all the candy =)
My favorite memory is from when I was in the fourth grade. Our very elderly neighbors were handing out candy and asking names of all the kids. When I told them my name was Molly, I was promptly invited into their home where the man put on a record on his phonogragh and played me the song "Molly and Me and Baby Makes Three." This is one of my favorite Halloween memories because I remember it so clearly. It was unexpected, and the man seemed so delighted to share this song with me, like it made his day. It felt like it wasn't about Halloween and candy anymore but about neighborhood connection. I didn't understand why this was important for my neighbors - I still do not - but I felt special to be a part of it.

My favorite Halloween memory was my sons second Halloween (2007). He dressed up as a teddy bear (just like his best friend/bear who is named Laa Laa Goo Goo). He was amazed at everything going on around him, and my little man wasn't scared either! I was so proud. He was so handsome & excited... I can't wait to do it again this year. He's probably my favorite memory of anything.
My favourite Halloween memory is when I was six years old and couldn't go out for Halloween because I was sick.My grandmother came over and brought me her favorite hard candies in a tupperware cup and my siter went out for Halloween with my younger brother. When she had returned my sister had a pillowcase of candy for me.she told everyone her sister was sick and had gotten twice as much candy for me because of it.It's awonderful memory of how sweet people can be and have how loving my sister (now deceased) was to me.
I don't have any Halloween memory yet, because in Italy we do not have such things, but I'm living my best Halloween ever just right now, heading to NY to my great friend where I'll party all Halloween day! Yay!
My favorite memory is a few years ago when kids rang my doorbell and instead of opening the door first, I did my evil laugh and scared them away.
My favorite halloween memory is when I was little, my school used to let us dress up for halloween and run around the classes of the bigger kids to "scare" them. It was so much fun :D
Since in Europe we don't celebrate Halloween as they do in the US, one of my favourite Halloween memories is when with my best friend from high school we organized a perfect US Halloween for ourselves: we bought pumpkin, ghost and bat decorations, put up guirlandes and candles, carved a pumpkin, made some bloody spaghetti, with some eeky looking dessert, made a freky show for my friend's sister and fiance: they had to go through the darkened apartment while we played eery music (which I recorded when I scratched plates with knives, screamed and slammed door just to create a creepy soundtrack :-D) and threw socks and stuffed animals at them, etc. They still remember it to this day what a great freaky event we pulled off :-D
Thanks for the fantastic giveaway Larissa! :-)
We don't usually celebrate Halloween here, but one year all my friends and I got costumes and went out to clubs like that. It was so much fun!
About 10 years ago my Husband and I took our kids out Trick or Treating in the worst weather! It was so cold, and pouring down raining. No one else even bothered to venture out. My kids made out like Bandits! People were pouring in the candy! So matter what the weather we will be out in full force celebrating.
Always stopping by my aunt's house who had the best decorations and best candy!
