If you've read the books you know Bella would never ever go with Jacob, but in the movies they spice it up to a big theme...Mandy: Less is Bore!https://www.blogger.com/profile/17950434180437066803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2153478020914909915.post-13064864398804526342012-02-05T12:48:01.603-02:002012-02-05T12:48:01.603-02:00i really dislike triangles ^_^i really dislike triangles ^_^rorohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01492185365572906987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2153478020914909915.post-508176852374267862012-02-05T11:47:30.072-02:002012-02-05T11:47:30.072-02:00OOh nice choices! But this was hard since not all love triangles annoyed me!Jessica @ a GREAT readhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07554254368211246669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2153478020914909915.post-75908303045537673092012-02-05T09:19:03.399-02:002012-02-05T09:19:03.399-02:00All I'm going to say is - I hate love triangle...All I'm going to say is - I hate love triangles (most of the time). I usually find them annoying, especially when they're really unnecessary ;) I won't do a Top 5 post on these theme, although I did vote for it - I was just interested to see everyone's lists :) As always, great post.Aleksandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11781896546785210965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2153478020914909915.post-52708628194219208562012-02-05T07:30:48.626-02:002012-02-05T07:30:48.626-02:00YES to all! Especially in the 'Dark Swan' ...YES to all! Especially in the 'Dark Swan' series because Kiyo just sucked and was no match for Dorian (Lord knows why Eugenie ever crawled back to him...)

I did like Anita/Richard/Jean-Claude in the very beginning of the series... then Hamilton ruined it by deliberately turning fans against Richard (I still believe that rumour that he was based on her ex-husband, and when they divorced she, coincidentally, decided to turn Richard into a bit of a jerk).

P.S. - I am in the minority and rooting for Mircea/Cassie... I KNOW! I get why Pritkin is beloved, but I have a soft-spot for Mircea and his long, flowing hair :)Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08440460463119645788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2153478020914909915.post-51419208702053744742012-02-05T06:19:06.328-02:002012-02-05T06:19:06.328-02:00This is an interesting one. I can think of a top three for this topic as I haven't read quite enough to get up to five yet, and all of them have a similar type of love triangle. I tend to get annoyed by this kind of love triangle where it is pushed up front in the story between certain types of characters. I like to read more subtle love triangles with reasons other than "they both are really hot" for the indecision. Might contain slight spoilers.

1. Elixir by Hilary Duff
Best friend that has always been there for her and would risk his life versus the mysterious, supernatural, "bad boy" who she is drawn to for some reason from the very beginning no matter what. The friend never stands a chance and it's one where the MC likes one then does something with the other in the same chapter, argh.

2. Wings by Aprilynn Pike
I actually liked the book for the most part, interesting fae idea. But the whole nice guy (human) who stand by her no matter what even when facing trolls compared to the fae guy who she is drawn to bugged me. There is an explanation for her attraction to him but it felt a bit late though at least stayed within the whole only finding out when she does.

3. Matched by Ally Condie
Another nice friend who is always there versus the more mysterious boy. It had potential but the love triangle bugged me because again the nice guy who does nothing wrong and honestly cares gets hosed.

Notice a theme? lol

Good topic.Dawn Embershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00214560861614476799noreply@blogger.com
