I have read a few 'magical' type stories in the past few months and it's something I probably haven't read for years. It's been enjoyable to get into a different genre type again and I did really enjoy this book.
This is a good story about the bond between three friends, each with their own magic. They are each very different but it's a strong bond between them that sees two of them worried for their friend when she ends up down the path of drugs. Because of the magical aspect of the book I had wondered if the drug stuff wouldn't really be discussed much and just would be a scene or small description. Instead we have a very thought out emotional story that was very well written. The author doesn't hide from it being a sensitive issue and really laid that side of the story bare.
I really enjoyed this story and really appreciated how difficult this storyline was but how well it was handled. A really touching story and I loved the three main characters.
