Under Construction...
Categories :
What constitutes a well balanced and well constructed life??? I believe that ideally it would e having a great career/do well on your studies, have a healthy family life and have a fulfiling lovelife... Is that even possible??? I don't think so...
I have a few theories about life (very Barney like I guess lol... if you dont know what I mean... please watch "how I met your mother")... My theories came from experiences, talks with friends, observing the world around or simply by hearing it somewhere and analyzing it to see if there was any merit to it...
I'll address those thories along the way... but tonight I'll focus on the "Three-point life" Theory...
It states that all of our lives can be divided into three aspects... Career/studies, Family/friends and love life... According to the theory, the three aspects are never in balance, one i ALWAYS down...
When you have an amazing job and eveything is great with your family, chances are your love life lacks some luster... right now you are reading this and thinking: "BULLSHIT"
I'm not talking a magic formula... it's all based on logic... If all is well with your family relatinships an you have a great job, you probably don't have much time to go out and meet new people... Same goes if you have a boyfriend, your career/school is great, you probably don' have much time to dedicate to your parents and family
I came to these conclusions from my own life and from observing my friend's lives... analyze yours and tell me if it doesn't make sense...
We are always under construction, we are all a work in progress, surviving every obstacle and challenge... I was working on the iage bellow for moe than 8 hours yesterday... because of a so connection... at the end, when I was only 36 blocks short of ending it... I lost i all...
That's life... we can go down, but we'll always come back and keep going...
At least something in my life is done... cause I am still far from being a finished product...

**As of Today, Feb 24th, This Blog is an Award Free Zone!**
I am sorry! I LOVE the awards you give me and I wish I didn't have to do this, but my blogging schedule in general has not made possible for me to follow the requirements for the awards I receive.
Because of that, I feel that this is for the best.

I'll be serious for a second.
There are many philosophies all trying to figure out the balance one should TRY to achieve in his life between all aspects of it (you state three, some would state many more).
The one I like best are the ones claiming we are all "asleep" as it is, even when we are wide awake. Our mind is asleep, we go through life but it's not REALLY real, it's our mind's image of life.
By certain techniques, each of these philosophies offering her own, one can awaken, so to speak, and see life for what they are. What they TRULY are. Only then, when full awake, mentally, emotionally awake can one be strive to achieve balance in their life.
Now, me... I'm not a spiritual person, I find all sort of Zen and stuff like that mambo-jumbo (sorry if I offended anyone, but that's my take on these things)... but when it comes to this enlightenment philosophies, I'm down with that. It sounds logical enough.
Wish I could find my way to becoming awake. Balanced. But as the saying goes, "Nil desperadum", right? :) :) :)
BTY, the nick will lead to an out-of-use blog, don't bother following it, though I guess you do know me from another site... :D :D :D
